About the Chamber | York, Nebraska
The York Nebraska Area Chamber of Commerce is an energetic organization to help existing businesses grow and succeed. The Chamber boasts over 300 members in the greater York, Nebraska area. York is located in eastern Nebraska at the junction of Interstate 80 (east-west) and Highway 81 (north-south). We are a proud progressive community of 8,000. We boast an excellent educational system, a vibrant business community and plenty of recreational and cultural opportunities for all ages.
Chamber Mission Statement
The York Area Chamber of Commerce is an organization of progressive members dedicated to building a strong, vibrant business community in the York area.
The Chamber, through its membership, provides community leadership, promotion, communication, and unity to insure continued economic support and growth.
Our Location & Hours
We are located at 603 N. Lincoln Avenue in the beautiful Downtown York. Our hours of operation are 8 – 5, Monday thru Friday. There may be rare occasions when the office may not have personnel. This would typically coincide with an event. Our office is closed for some holidays. They are:
Martin Luther King Jr. Day (third Monday in January)

Memorial Day (last Monday in May)

Labor Day (first Monday in September)
Columbus Day (second Monday of October)

Meet Our Team
Madonna Mogul
Executive Director
Madonna Mogul stepped into the role of Executive Director at the York Chamber of Commerce in May of 2015 but has been with the Chamber since October 2010. She was raised in Omaha but has been a resident in York for over 30 years. Previous to the York Chamber, Madonna was at York College for 14 years. Madonna and her husband, Ron Mogul, Jr, have two kids Erin (Justin) Zabawa, Amanda (Seth) Arnold and three grandchildren; Colin Bader, Memphis and Cruz Zabawa.
Jill Swartzendruber
Member Services & Event Coordinator
Jill Swartzendruber joined the York Area Chamber of Commerce in September 2021. She was raised in Shickley, Nebraska and graduated from Doane College with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Her work experience includes local government, non-profit, and family-owned business. She enjoys volunteering as an EMT in her community and hanging out with family and friends.
Sarah Dhonde
Administrative Assistant
Sarah has been with the Chamber Commerce since August of 2022. Sarah and her husband, DD, have two children and they make their home in York.
