The York Young Professionals are bringing back the York Summer Games in 2024, but with a twist! Embark on an epic summer series of games and competition. Schedule of events can be found below.

Sign up as a team of 4 – 10 participants. Or, sign up as an individual looking for an awesome team to be a part of! All participants in the Yorklympics will be invited to all events, not all teammates are required to be present at all events. Substitutions are not allowed; you must be registered with us by May 10.

Participants must be 19 or older.

Participation fee is $50 per participant and includes participation in all events through the summer!

Thursday, May 30 - 5-7pm

Join us at Blended Distilling (1420 Road N) for our Opening Ceremonies! 

Get ready to kick off the competition by getting to know your teams and fellow competitors. We will be handing out team t-shirts and important information to ensure you’re all set for the event. Young Professionals will also be available to answer any questions you may have.

Feel free to come and go as you please, and let’s make this event a memorable one! See you there! 

Tuesday, June 4 - 7-9pm

Meet us at Sunset Bowl (1923 N Lincoln Ave) for team Bowling!

Gather your team and join us for an exciting evening of friendly competition on the lanes. Teams must have a minimum of 4 members to participate in this event, so rally your team for a night of strikes and spares.

Don’t miss out on the chance to showcase your bowling skills and enjoy a night of camaraderie with your team. See you at Sunset Bowl!

Sunday June 16 - 3-6pm

Begin this challenge at the Chamber Office (603 N Lincoln) for the Downtown Scavenger Hunt!

Join us for a scavenger hunt in downtown York. Teams need a minimum of 2 members for this event, but we encourage all members to join in for a fun-filled adventure of teamwork and discovery. Pick up your first clue between 3-4pm.

Navigate through the downtown, solving challenging riddles, and completing tasks to emerge victorious in this quest. Are you up for the challenge?

Thursday, June 27 - 6pm

Join us at Mincks Park (2222 E 14th St) for our disc golf competition!

This event requires a minimum of 2 players per team. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to test your skills and enjoy the great outdoors.

Participants are welcome to bring their own frisbees or use the ones provided by us. Don’t miss out on an evening of friendly competition on the course. See you on the fairways!

Friday, July 12 - 8pm

The York Aquatic Center (2222 E 14th St) is the place to be for Canoe Battleship!

Gear up for a thrilling aquatic battle as teams face off in a unique and exciting canoe battleship competition. Grab your paddles, and strategize with your teammates to sink your opponents’ canoes while defending your own.

Are you ready to conquer the waves and claim victory in the ultimate canoe battleship showdown? Let the battle begin!

Monday, July 29 - 6pm

Meet at the York Country Club (1016 W Elm) for our Mini Golf event!

Join us for a delightful round of mini golf at the Country Club, where challenging holes await. Gather at least 2 teammates for a competitive game on the beautiful course.

Putt your way through twists and turns, navigate obstacles, and aim for that hole-in-one. Tee off with us for a memorable mini golf experience!

Saturday, August 10 - 8am

The High School Track (1005 Duke Drive) will host our Upside Down Track Meet Day!

Get ready for a hilarious twist on classic track meet events. You may want your entire team for this day, but a minimum of 5 is all that is necessary. Join us for a day of unconventional challenges as we put a spin on traditional track and field competitions. 

Expect unexpected obstacles, quirky rules, and plenty of surprises that will keep you on your toes throughout the event!

Monday, August 26 - 6:30pm

Join us in the Chances R Beer Garden (124 W 5th) for Trivia Night!

This event will be an evening of brain-teasing questions, and a variety of themed rounds. This event can be your entire team but requires at least 2 members. Put your heads together and engage in a battle of wits as you tackle a variety of trivia categories.

Get ready to show off your smarts and have a blast at our Trivia Night in the Beer Garden!

Saturday, September 7 - 6pm

Join us for the Closing Ceremonies at Elks Club (121 W 6 St)! 
Celebrate the end of a fantastic summer competition series with a social hour at the Elks Club. Bring a snack to share and enjoy some time mingling with all the teams. It’s a great opportunity to unwind, share stories, and make lasting memories with fellow participants.

During the closing ceremonies we will award, top team medals. Don’t miss the highlight of the evening, the presentation of the coveted traveling trophy to the winning team!
